The Minister of Transportation, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali, has extended his condolences to the Bala Waja, Alhaji Muhammad Danjuma Muhammad, at his palace in Talasse, Balanga Local Government Area of Gombe State, following the death of the Commissioner for Internal Security, Col. Abdullahi Bello (Rtd.), and his police orderly, Sergeant Adamu Husaini, who both lost their lives in a motor accident.
Senator Alkali described the late Col. Bello as a disciplined, dedicated, and selfless officer whose contributions to security and governance left an enduring mark on Gombe State and Nigeria at large.
He noted that Bello’s death represents an irreparable loss, adding that his exemplary service and love for humanity will continue to inspire generations, especially those in leadership and public service.
“The passing of Col. Abdullahi Bello (Rtd.) is a great loss to Gombe State and the nation. His commitment to excellence and integrity in service remains unforgettable,” the Minister stated.

Alkali prayed to Almighty Allah to grant the deceased eternal rest in Al-Jannah Firdaus and comfort the bereaved family, the Bala Waja, and the people of Balanga LGA over the loss.
